Activity by Andrew Moss
Description (for Instructors)
This introductory activity facilitates class community-building at the start of the term. By answering a series of friendly getting-to-know-you prompts, students are able to introduce themselves and get to know one another—both in a personal and professional capacity. Furthermore, this activity also develops students’ familiarity with their class’s Course Management System (CMS) with a low-stakes introductory assignment.
This activity is formatted as a discussion forum on your course’s CMS. However, you may also choose to structure this activity as an in-class introduction and discussion.
