Explanation (for Instructors)
In this 30-minute in-class activity, students experiment with AI as a tool for synthesizing and analyzing research. Over the course of the activity, students will compile relevant research, use AI to generate a summary, and format that summary into a concise business report. Students will post their completed reports to a shared Padlet and present their findings during the last 5-7 minutes of class.
The key takeaways from this assignment are to learn how to effectively use AI for summarizing data and to practice turning that information into a professional business report, all while engaging in an interactive and fun learning experience.

Instructions (for Students)
- In groups of 2-3, look at Google reviews of one business on Green St.
- Use AI to analyze the reviews and find the most common issues reported by customers. You will likely have to copy and paste the reviews directly into your AI generator of choice. Use at least 10 reviews as the bare minimum.
- Use this information to make suggestions on how the business could implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
- Create a very short business report with the following sections: Title page, Findings, Analysis, and Conclusion/Recommendations.
- Upload your report in a document (or link to google doc) onto Padlet.
