This freewrite activity asks students to consider how their past literary experiences has impacted their professional trajectory. This low-stakes free-writing exercise guides students in generating ideas for the Professional Literacy Narrative.

Explanation (for Students)

Part of the Professional Literacy narrative asks you to write about how literary (both reading and writing) experiences effected your professional career journey. What books/articles/films/social media content that you read influence your career choices either positively or negatively or both. How did writing play or not play a role in your career path? Think about these questions and then afterwards write a response of at least 2 paragraphs
